Affiliate Disclosure
The short version: frAIgrant is free to use, and some of our "where to buy" links are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is part of how we keep the core app free.
In line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, frAIgrant discloses that we have a financial relationship with some of the retailers we link to. When you buy a product through certain links on our website or in our app, we may receive an affiliate commission. This never changes the price you pay.
First-party listings. Sheikh Scents is not an affiliate: it is our own store. frAIgrant and Sheikh Scents are operated by the same owner, so when you buy from a Sheikh Scents listing, the sale benefits us directly. Sheikh Scents listings are labeled "Official" in the app so you can always tell them apart from third-party retailers.
How it works
frAIgrant helps you discover fragrances and then shows you where you can buy them. Some of those retailer links are standard affiliate links, which carry a tracking code so the retailer knows the visit came from us. If you make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise.
We want to be clear about what this does and does not influence:
- It does not change your price. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
- It does not decide our recommendations. frAIgrant recommends fragrances based on your taste profile and the data in our catalog, not on which retailer pays the most. The recommendation and the place to buy it are two separate steps.
- It does not make us the seller. Purchases are between you and the retailer, governed by their terms, pricing, shipping, and returns. We do not handle your order or payment.
Programs we participate in
frAIgrant participates, or is in the process of enrolling, in affiliate programs that may include the following retailers and networks. This list can change over time as programs are added or removed:
- Amazon Associates
- CJ Affiliate partners, including Perfumania, FragranceShop.com, FragranceX, and Jomashop
- Other specialist fragrance retailers and affiliate networks
frAIgrant is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Prices and availability
Any prices, sizes, or stock information shown for third-party retailers are provided as a convenience and can be out of date or incorrect. The price and terms that count are the ones shown by the retailer at checkout. For some programs, such as Amazon, we do not display a stored price at all and instead link you out to check the current price directly.
Our promise
We will only ever point you toward retailers we would use ourselves, and we will keep recommendations honest even when it means suggesting a cheaper bottle or telling you to sample before you buy.
